RF Loyalty Reward Cashback 2024-2025 Promotion

Terms & Conditions

1.PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS, PARTICIPATING RETAILERS, PROMOTIONAL PERIOD AND PARTICIPANTS

1.1. All Participants must be:
1.1.1.  aged 18 or over; and
1.1.2. . must be resident in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (“UK”) or Republic of Ireland (“ROI”) (“Participant”).

1.2. Participants who have purchased a brand new qualifying Canon EOS R-System camera body or camera body and lens kit from the list below in Schedule 1 (“Qualifying Cameras”) on or after 1st August 2023 and up until 23.59 on Sunday 31st August 2025 from one of the listed participating retailers in the UK or ROI as applicable (see list below at Schedule 3- “Participating Retailers”) will be eligible to claim RF Loyalty Reward Cashback on their purchase of up to FIVE (5) of the Canon RF lenses  listed below in Schedule 2 (the “Promotional Products”) from one of the Participating Retailers in the UK or ROI between 00.00 Sunday 1st September 2024 and 23.59 Sunday 31^st August 2025 inclusive (the “Promotional Period”) All other products and retailers are excluded. Promotional Products sold as part of a kit or bundle with a camera body are excluded from this promotion. Purchases must be genuine purchases for cash or its equivalent.

1.3. By submitting a claim for RF Loyalty Reward Cashback (“Loyalty Cashback Claim”) on a Promotional Product, Participants are deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1.4. All Promotional Products purchased must be new and genuine Canon Products. Purchases of second hand, refurbished or reconditioned products, or products which are counterfeit or infringe the intellectual property rights of the Canon group of companies in any way (for example, including but not limited to parallel or “grey” products) will not qualify under this promotion. 2. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

2.1. To enter the loyalty cashback promotion, the Participant must have:
2.1.1. purchased a Qualifying Camera from a Participating Retailer on or after 1st August 2023 and up until 23.59 on Sunday 31^st August 2025;
2.1.2. purchased a Promotional Product from a Participating Retailer during the Promotional Period; AND
2.1.3. must submit a valid Loyalty Cashback Claim online between 00:00 on Sunday 1^st September 2024 and 23.59 on Thursday 2^nd October 2025.

2.2. To complete and submit a Loyalty Cashback Claim:
2.2.1. Step 1: Go to canon.co.uk/rf-reward for a Promotional Product purchased within the UK or www.canon.ie/rf-reward  for a Promotional Product purchased within the ROI and choose ‘submit your claim’
2.2.2. Step 2: Participants must complete the online claim form provided and apply to register their Qualifying Camera with Canon by:
2.2.2.1. completing the Participants personal details, bank details and providing details of their Qualifying Camera (including specifying a valid European product serial number) on the claim form; and
2.2.2.2. scanning, uploading and attaching to the claim form proof of purchase of the Qualifying Camera through a copy of their receipt, or order confirmation for internet purchases, for the Qualifying Camera, and then click ‘SUBMIT’.

2.2.3. Step 3: Participants will receive an email confirmation of their submission together with personal login details to enable the Participant to then access Canon’s online tracking and lens reward cashback claim system (“RF Loyalty Reward Cashback Claim Portal”). If Participant does not receive a confirmation email within 48 hours of submitting their claim form, Participant should first check their junk emails and thereafter if still not in receipt please contact the Claims Hotline on 0800 044 3251.

2.2.4. Step 4: Following receipt of the email confirmation and the personal login details the Participants must proceed to the RF Loyalty Reward Cashback Claim Portal via the login details provided and navigate to the Loyalty Cashback Claim form, apply to register the Promotional Product with Canon and complete the claim form by:
2.2.4.1. filling in the details of the Promotional Product purchased during the Promotional Period (including specifying a valid European product serial number) on the claim form; and
2.2.4.2. scanning, uploading and attaching to the online Loyalty Cashback Claim form proof of purchase of the Promotional Product through a copy of their receipt, or order confirmation for internet purchases, and then click ‘SUBMIT’.

2.3. Step 5: Participants will receive an email confirmation of their Loyalty Cashback Claim submission. If Participant does not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of submitting a Loyalty Cashback Claim, Participant should please check their junk emails and thereafter if still not in receipt please contact the Claims Hotline on 0800 044 3251.   

2.4. Per Qualifying Camera purchased by a Participant on or after 1^st August 2023 and up until 23.59 on Sunday 31st August 2025 the Participant may claim RF Loyalty Reward Cashback Claims on their purchase of up to a maximum of FIVE (5) Promotional Products throughout the Promotional Period.

2.5. ;The Promotional Products are subject to availability while stocks last. Canon will not be liable for the failure of retailers to fulfill orders of Promotional Products during the Promotional Period.

2.6. Canon will not process any Loyalty Cashback Claims:
2.6.1. received after 23.59 on Thursday 2^nd October 2025; or
2.6.2. which are in its sole opinion incomplete or illegible.

2.7. Canon will not be responsible for Loyalty Cashback Claims delayed or not successfully received.

2.8. This promotion cannot be redeemed:
2.8.1. in conjunction with any other cashback promotion unless explicitly mentioned in that promotions terms and conditions; or
2.8.2. If the Participant is an employee of Canon or the Canon Group of companies and utilizing an employee discount on the Canon online store.

3. CASHBACK

3.1. Participants will receive Loyalty Cashback in the amounts shown below in Schedule 2 for purchases of Promotional Products during the Promotional Period.

3.2. Upon receipt, verification and validation of a Loyalty Cashback Claim for a Promotional Product during the Promotional Period (each a “Claim”), Canon will arrange for a direct BACS transfer payment to the Participant’s bank account. No alternative arrangement will be entered into and no cash or cheque will be provided.

3.3. Canon will endeavor to transfer via BACS within 4-6 weeks of receipt of a Claim.

3.4. Only one BACS payment will be issued per Claim.

3.5. If you are UK VAT or ROI VAT registered and you receive a cashback, it may reduce the taxable value of your purchase and so you may need to reduce your input tax accordingly.

4. THE PROMOTER

4.1. The promoter is Canon (UK) Ltd, company number 01264300 with its registered office address at 4 Roundwood Avenue, Stockley Park, Uxbridge UB11 1AF (“Promoter”).

5. DISCLAIMERS

5.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canon shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature howsoever caused, sustained by any Participant under this promotion. However, nothing in these rules shall have the effect of excluding or restricting Canon’s liability for personal injury or death caused by the proven negligence of Canon’s employees or agents.

5.2. In exceptional circumstances, Canon may void, amend, and/or change this promotion at any time without incurring any liability whatsoever provided that such changes are necessary and can be justified by objective reasons.

5.3. Canon reserves the right to audit any claims to ensure compliance with these terms and conditions and to request additional information and supporting documents. Canon reserves the right to exclude claims and/or Participants if it suspects that the promotion is being abused in any way. Canon’s decisions in relation to the promotion are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5.4. If any part of these conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, then such part shall be severed from the remainder of these conditions, which shall continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. DATA

6.1. Canon (UK) Ltd is the Data Controller in respect of any personal data supplied by Participants. Any personal data submitted to Canon (UK) Limited will be processed by (a) Canon (UK) Ltd and its third party supplier Benamic Ltd, IDA Business and Technology Park, Ring Road, Kilkenny, Ireland, for the purpose of administering this Promotion, and, if applicable (b) by Canon (UK) Limited and its associated companies for marketing purposes, in cases where Participants have opted-in to receive marketing communication from Canon. 6.2. If Participants do not wish for their contact information to be used for marketing purposes or to enable Canon to contact them in future regarding similar promotions, they should NOT check the relevant “opt-in” box when completing the claim form.

7. LAW AND JURISDICTION

As You are a participating consumer, laws of your country of residence will apply to this Promotion, and You may be entitled to bring court proceedings in your own language and in your local courts. A local consumer advice organisation will be able to advise you on your rights. These Terms do not restrict any statutory rights that may be applicable.
